Exploring the streets of Austin, Texas is how Kelsey and Mike fell in love. Although, South Congress is where most of the morning brunches, afternoon strolls, and latenight drinks took place for these two lovebirds. Not only is this one of my favorite cities, but Kelsey is one of my favorite humans on this entire planet! So needless to say, I’m so honored to be capture her engagement photos with Mike on the street that holds the most memories for them and their relationship.
Kelsey and Mike met on a blind date 4 years ago, when Kelsey’s coworker asked to set her up. And against all odds, it just so happened to work out!! After the first few weeks of dating, Kelsey had already booked a ticket to come meet me in Turkey for a two week adventure of a lifetime together. We ate so much baklava, sailed through remote Turkish islands in the Mediterranean, explored ancient caves that were 9 stories underground, and motorcycled through the land of fairy chimneys. The list goes on and on, but enough about our amazing adventures together!
I cannot wait to share Kelsey and Mike’s engagement session with you guys. It was so special to spend time in some of their favorite spots along South Congress, including Hotel San José (and some hella good frosé’s), mouth-watering pizza from Home Slice, and soaking in the city views at sunset on Lamar Bridge.
